I am so proud and amazed at my fellow human beings (the age of my older children!) crossing many oceans in a sail boat made of plastic bottles... yes, PLASTIC bottles that we buy everyday in our regular lives and don't even think about the impact of what these plastic bottles are doing to our earth. It's really easy folks... Stainless steel. Even cool SS bottles in all kinds of delightful designs that you can make YOURS! Personalize your drinking water or beverage of choice. We do have a "choice" in what we use and waste.

This crossing of the sea in a plastic bottle boat, dangerous at times and blissful at times has brought attention to our wastful use of plastic that we, our children and our creatures of the oceans just don't need..

I am making a commitment to not by plastic containers. Haylie and I have our stainless steel bottles we purchased at REI... They are beautiful. I hope I have mine until I am 100 ~ Join us!
